Overview

An incredibly beautiful and varied part of the world, Chile is the longest and narrowest country in South America. It is an impressive, friendly and comfortable travel destination. The central region around the capital city of Santiago is surrounded by fertile valleys and vineyards. In the north, is the Atacama Desert known for its indigenous cultures, spectacular geology, and clear skies. In the middle of the country is the lake-district that surrounds the cities of Pucón and Puerto Montt and provides intimate contact with azure lakes, tumbling rivers, snow-capped volcanoes and native forests. In southern Patagonia, fjords, glaciers and the towering Andes Mountains, together with the region’s crown-jewel of Torres del Paine National Park, welcomes nature lovers. West of continental Chile, in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, lies mysterious Easter Island with its many silent moai statues.
