Armando holds a bachelor’s degree in Business and Spanish from Loyola Marymount University. He enjoys implementing new tools and system processes and connecting with passengers. In his free time, he enjoys horseback riding, soccer, windsurfing, and has recently completed an introductory Japanese course at CCSF.

Carla has over 20 years of experience in educational travel. Her love of travel has taken her to many different parts of the world, from bustling cities to remote wilderness areas. She is very interested in learning about different cultures, cuisines, music, and other ways of life, and she loves planning her next adventure. Carla has a bachelor’s degree in Humanities from Michigan State University.

Madison is a nature enthusiast with a background in wildlife biology and experience as a wrangler and mule packer. She adores the Eastern Sierras but also enjoys road trips across the US, especially in the Southwest. As a Tour Manager, she looks forward to sharing her passion for nature and travel with you. Madison holds a B.S. in Wildlife Biology from West Texas A&M University.

Mae has over 10 years of experience working in alumni and affinity group travel, from planning and developing programs to managing day-to-day operations.  Her favorite destination is Paris, but she is happy walking and eating her way around any big city in the world. Mae holds an M.A. in Visual Studies from the University of California-Irvine and a B.A. in Art History from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa.

Raquel brings expertise in destination research and trip scouting to her role as a Tour Development and Planner. With a bachelor’s degree in Architecture from the University of Texas, she has used her passion for architectural design to create memorable travel experiences. Outside of the office, Raquel enjoys soaking up lots of sunshine on long bike rides, hikes, gardening, and live music.

Diana Schaffter is an experienced Asia travel specialist who delights in discovering the beauty of nature reserves and cultural sites, with a particular affinity for India, Laos, Thailand, and Korea. Diana holds a Masters of Public Health (MPH), a Masters in Education (MEd), from Tulane University, and a Bachelor of Science (BSC Honors) degree from Queens University, Kingston, Ontario, Canada.

Amber has a diverse background in business and teaching and believes the best way to learn about the world and yourself is through travel. Her love for travel and immersion in new cultures, places, and experiences led her to live in Italy for 8 years, where she learned Italian fluently. She has a passion for nature, learning, and literature. In her free time, you can find her out with friends, in a museum, or exploring somewhere off the beaten path. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from California State East Bay and an International Master’s in Hospitality and Tourism Management from Rome Business School.

Marsha has explored nearly 40 states and traveled extensively abroad, holding a particular love for Europe’s art, architecture, and history. She especially enjoys planning annual trips with her daughter. Bringing experience in business development, project management and customer service, Marsha spent years translating clients’ visions into reality within the interior design industry. She now uses that same thoughtful, detail-driven approach to craft meaningful travel experiences. She holds a degree in Interior Design from Wade College with additional studies in art history and business. When she’s not designing journeys for others, Marsha enjoys weekend road trips, local hikes and photography throughout California.
